After reading some other books and articles on St. Patrick, including St. Patrick's confession, I think the author took literary license to the limit in creating his story. Instead of the title Patrick Son of Ireland, perhaps a better title would be Patrick Sinner Before Saint as that is what it definitely Most of this book just bothered me.4/5.
